TimesOC is accepting resumes for an entertainment editor. The editor is responsible for producing an engaging entertainment and lifestyle weekly in Orange County. The publication is produced by Times Community News and inserted in all copies of the Los Angeles Times circulated in Orange County on Sundays. The editor is responsible for everything from concert previews and artist profiles to calendar listings and lifestyle pieces. Candidates should be well-versed in classical music, jazz, theater arts, literature and visual arts. Ideally, the candidate would also be able to assign and edit stories about gardening, decorating, interiors and exercise trends. This is a 40/week position with benefits at the Daily Pilot office in Fountain Valley. The job requires some night and weekend work. A bachelor's degree is required. This is a management-level position.
