The Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas (LMDA) is pleased to announce that Nora Long is the recipient of the Fall 2012 Dramaturg Driven Grant.

Nora will attend the international Napoli Theatre Festival in Naples, Italy in June 2013, in order to connect contemporary Italian performance to the Italian and Italian-American community's traditional Saints’ Feasts in Boston’s North End by creating a performance piece inspired by the Festival. This project is a means of further development for Nora as an artist by broadening her access to Italian artists for translations and future exchange possibilities, enhancing her value in the North End community as a cultural contributor, and strengthening her language skills. Nora’s neighborhood is deeply committed to its cultural connection to Italy, and this project allows her to share her work with the community.
