LMDA’s “Playwrights Under the Radar” Session - Revised Call for Presenters

LMDA will host “Playwrights Under the Radar” as a synchronous session during this summer’s virtual conference (June 19-20), and there is still room for new presenters. This is a great way for you to spread the word about one of "your" playwrights -- maybe one you've worked with or want to work with, or maybe one whose plays you just love -- but who may not yet be on the national or international radar.

Using the popular Hot Topics format, each presenter will get five minutes to sing the praises of their chosen playwright. Ideally, this playwright has had several successful, but local productions. You believe this playwright deserves a spot in the big leagues. Now you can tell us why.

If you're burning to tell the world about your little-known, but awesomely talented playwright, sign up now. We have only a dozen spots, and the deadline for signing up is May 20.

Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas (LMDA) trae de vuelta la sesión Dramaturgos Bajo el Radar a la conferencia virtual 2020 (junio 19 y 20) en un formato asincrónico y aún hay lugares disponibles.  Esta es una gran manera de pasar la voz acerca de un dramaturgo de tu interés — tal vez hayas trabajado con ellxs, o tal vez su trabajo te haya cautivado— pero quien aún no se encuentra bajo el “radar” nacional o internacional. 

Usando nuestro ya tradicional formato de Hot Topics, cada presentador tendrá cinco minutos para cantar y rendir culto al trabajo de un dramaturgo de su elección. Idealmente, ellxs han tenido éxito con algunas producciones locales. Si tú crees que ellxs se merecen una posición en las grandes ligas, entonces queremos saber ¿por qué?
