I've been working as a dramaturg since I discovered the profession when I was 16. I have dramaturged over 30 productions, including Shakespeare, new works, and classical Greek plays. I served as resident dramaturg for the Downtown Repertory Theater company in downtown LA for 3 years. My primary work now is cutting Shakespeare texts for performance, while I am working on my Master of Library Science degree, so that I can work as a theatre liaison librarian at a university library.
