Biography
Alexander Charles Adams is a dramaturg, drag queen, and producer of the radio drama podcast ‘Smash/Cut’. As a dramaturg, Alexander has worked with Swine Palace Regional Theatre, TheatreofplucK, Outworks LGBTQ New Play Festival, and LSU Mainstage. As creator/producer of ‘Smash/Cut’, Alexander has created audio fiction with artists in Louisiana, New York, Ireland, and France. Alexander’s research interests are complacency in contemporary HIV/AIDS performance and dramaturgy of BDSM scenes under the mentorship of Dr. Alan Sikes at Louisiana State University. Alexander is currently a pursuing a BA in Theatre Studies at Louisiana State University’s School of Theatre and in residency at the 2016 OUTBurst Queer Arts Festival in Belfast, Northern Ireland. www.alexandercharlesadams.com
