Alonna Ray is a writer and dramaturg from north Texas, currently living in Louisville, Kentucky where she is the Dramaturgy and Literary Management Apprentice at Actors Theatre for the 18-19 season. At Actors, she served as dramaturg on the premiere of Mara Nelson-Greenberg's AND WE'RE LIVE and was assistant dramaturg on A. Rey Pamatmat's premiere of THE ELECTRIC HARVEST. During her undergraduate career, she served as dramaturg on six mainstage productions at the University of Dallas and created a biannual dramaturgical publication called “OnStage Magazine.” She received a B.A. in French and Comparative Literature and a minor in Drama from the University of Dallas.
