Freelance Dramaturg
Biography
I use dramaturgy as a means of advocacy and love helping writers achieve their artistic goals!
I graduated with a BFA in Dramaturgy/Criticism from The Theatre School at DePaul University and base my practice as a dramaturg in Chicago, IL. I've had previous experience as a dramaturg for The Theatre School’s productions of Joe Turner’s Come and Gone (Fall 2015), Contractions (Spring 2016), and Seven Homeless Mammoths Wander New England (Fall 2017). I've also dramaturged several world premieres, including Galcity Theatre Collective’s musical House of Vinyl (Summer 2015), Night Runner by Ike Holter (TTS; Winter 2017), and Growing Up Blue by Chloë Orlando (TTS; Spring 2018). Under the mentor-ship of Isaac Gomez, I worked as a literary and civic dramaturgy intern for Victory Gardens Theater, assistant producing their annual IGNITION Festival of New Plays. On the weekends, I can be seen swing-dancing across Chicago.
