Preferring "Ruby Russell" over her given name, Ruby is a gender fluid writer. She's written multiple TV pilots (all sitcoms) with LGBTQ main characters, four plays (three comedies and one monologue), and has a sketch comedy web series in the works. She's traveled extensively--Prague, Budapest, Saudi Arabia, Canada, UK, Germany, and other places. A writer at heart, Ruby wrote 'Violet the Whale', a children's book about a transgender whale trying to find her way in the world; it is in the transgender archive at the University of Vancouver.

Beyond her writing, she's available to consult on any works (plays, TV, films, books, etc.) that have LGBTQ, persons with non-physical disabilities, and/or military veteran characters.
