Ciarán Myers has his MFA in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. He is the co-artistic director of the Informal Upright Theatre Collective as well as an award-winning playwright, multi-published poet, performance pedagogue, and dad. He has had work performed in multiple cities, off-west-end, and at fringe festivals, garnering 4 and 5-star reviews. During his master's degree Ciarán focused on practical artistic applications of Brecht and Ranciere's theories as well as the meaning and politics of dramatic translation. Ciarán is an alumnus of the Stratford Festival's playwrights retreat, the Tron Theatre's 100 Club, and the Traverse Theatre's Directing Program. He is passionate about riding his bike.
