I have been passionate about theater (especially scenic design, direction, and dramaturgy) ever since I was a small child. Although my upbringing was very conservative and religiously oppressive, I found ways to express my theatrical ambitions through performing in youth musicals and church programs. I took several years to find myself, ultimately throwing off the chokehold of my childhood environment and coming out as a queer human. My objective is to move forward in life as a queer theater artist, promoting the voices of those who have been disenfranchised and dehumanized.
