Joel Castellaw is a theatre artist and educator. He performs and works as dramaturg in the nonprofit theatre scene in San Diego, CA. He is a Professor of Communication at Grossmont College in El Cajon, CA, where he teaches Readers Theatre. He is currently enrolled in the M.A. program in Theatre Arts at San Diego State University, where his research interests include dramaturgy, the process of adapting nontheatrical works to the stage, and Shakespearean performance.
