Biography
Kim Euell is a playwright, dramaturg, producer and educator who is passionately committed to promoting socially relevant new plays, particularly those written by under-represented writers. She teaches playwriting at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and VONA, the nation's only multi-genre writing conference devoted to writers of color. She has also headed new play programs at Center Theater Group/Mark Taper Forum, San Jose Rep and the Tony Award-winning Hartford Stage. She has worked as a new play dramaturg at the Sundance Theater Lab, the O'Neill Playwrights Conference, New Harmony Festival and the Taper's New Work Festival among others.
