Biography
Briar-Rose Murphy is a student at Nazareth College. In the past she has worked on Nazareth productions such as "The Beaux’ Stratagem" (assistant stage manager),"Gardenias" (costume designer), Grease (props master), "The Beauty Queen of Leenane" (costume designer), and Bachelorette (director), among others. In the fall of 2016, Briar studied abroad in Rennes, France for the first semester of her junior year. There, she participated in a theatre workshop with several other foreign exchange students. Recent projects include "A Doll’s House" (dramaturg) and "Company" (wardrobe). Outside of her career at Nazareth, Briar was the stage manager for Rochester Latino Theatre Company’s Mojito Picante and performed several roles in "Wolf Tails and Stolen Footprints", a piece of devised theatre performed at the 2017 Rochester Fringe Festival. She most recently worked on the new, unpublished work "End of Shift" by Jenny Connell Davis.
