As a theatre educator, dramaturg, performer, and Doctor Who enthusiast Charisse has had the opportunity to work with theatre companies in Utah and the UK. In Salt Lake she performed with Hale Centre Theatre and Pinnacle Acting Company, and recently received MA degrees from the Royal Central School of Drama in London and the University of Kent in Canterbury. Having worked with a number of area high schools as a drama teacher and production dramaturg, Charisse is now focusing on playwriting and is finishing a script that will be produced early next year. She currently works as the grant writer for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
