Rachel Combs earned her BFA in Acting from the State University of New York at Purchase, and her MA in Writing and Publishing from DePaul University in Chicago, IL. She served as a team of artistic co-directors of the Blue Barn Theatre in Omaha, NE for many years, and was commissioned to write original scripts for the Nebraska Theatre Caravan, where she also helped develop study guides for touring productions. She has worked as a fundraising professional for many nonprofit performing arts organizations in Omaha and Chicago. She is the Development Director for Storycatchers Theatre, where she has worked since 2007. She is a script reader for Steppenwolf Theatre.
