Jessica Riley holds a PhD in Theatre Studies from the University of Guelph (2015). Her scholarly research pursues historical analyses of new play dramaturgy. Riley's work has been published in the Cambridge Companion to Canadian Literature, Canadian Performance Histories and Historiographies, Latina/o Canadian Theatre and Performance, and in Canadian Theatre Review. She is also the editor of A Man of Letters: The Selected Dramaturgical Correspondence of Urjo Kareda (Playwrights Canada 2017).
