Biography
Sarah Pultz is a Theatre Practitioner stationed in Washington, D.C. She is mainly a Freelance Dramaturg with an interest in developing new works. In addition to her work as a dramaturg, she is a musician and composer, an aspiring playwright, and a performer with a background in acting, singing, and dancing.
Sarah attended Christopher Newport University where she received her B.A in Musical Theatre with a minor in Political Science in 2015. She then went on to obtain an M.A. in Theatre Criticism and Dramaturgy from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London, England in 2017.
For Sarah, Theatre is the ultimate art-form, nowhere else can one find so many forms of creativity and imagination. Theatre examines the foundations of human connection and has the power to challenge political, economic, and societal structures; it encourages collaboration, discussion, and dialogue. Sarah's aspirations are to continue and develop these attributes in theatre and adapt them to modern context.
