Biography
I am a theatre artist with a focus on cultural memory and community engaged performance. As the Program Coordinator for the University of Michigan’s Educational Theatre Company (UMetc), I produce, assistant direct, and program the company’s academic and school year performances. I am also the Artistic Director of BoxFest Detroit, an annual theatre festival to support the work of female-identifying directors. I have worked regionally with the Wharton Center for Performing Arts, University of Michigan’s InterArts Program, Heritage Works, Ann Arbor Dance Works, A Host of People, Tipping Point Theatre, Matrix Theatre Company, Puzzle Piece Theatre, and the Michigan Equity Theatre Alliance; and internationally with the London-based production company, Turtle Key Arts. I have a Master of Arts from King’s College, London in Theatre & Performance Studies and a Bachelor of Arts from Alma College in Theatre and English.
I am an Actor’s Equity Association Membership Candidate, a member of Literary Managers and Dramaturgs of the Americas, and an Alumni Epsilon member of the International English Honorary Sigma Tau Delta.
